RECIPE: THE ODO JOOST FIRESTARTER COCKTAIL

O.J. Beer

There’s not much of an introduction needed for this invention. You want heat? You want strength? You want to get the party started? Look no further… Inspired by Odo Joost, one of the world’s strongest men, this cocktail does all of the above, and more...

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of O.J. 18% Strong Beer
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • Hot sauce of your choice
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Ice

Equipment:

  • Small plate
  • Serving glass

Method:

Pour the salt, chili powder and pepper on a small plate and mix together. You’ll need this mix for both the rim of your glass and to sprinkle in the drink. Take a wedge of lime and rub it along the rim of the glass and then dip the rim into the seasoning mix. Next, fill the glass with ice and add the lime juice, a few dashes of hot sauce and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Pour in the O.J. Strong Beer slowly using the edge of the glass to avoid excess foaming. Give the drink a very light stir to mix ingredients. Sprinkle with some of the additional seasoning and serve. Enjoy!

Try something new. Out with the old, #inwithOJ
